Underground Fiber Drop Contractor (1099) – West Virginia
Tetter Underground Inc. is looking for experienced 1099 Underground Fiber Drop Contractors to join our growing team in West Virginia. We’re looking for dependable contractors who take pride in quality work, communicate professionally with customers, and can work efficiently in the field.
Pay:
- $150 per completed fiber drop (up to 300 ft)
- $0.30 per additional foot over 300 ft
- $200 for driveway bores (up to 300 ft), plus $0.30 per additional foot
Responsibilities:
- Install underground fiber drops to residential customers.
- Safely operate trenching and boring equipment.
- Follow utility locate markings and safety procedures.
- Restore customer property after installation.
- Communicate professionally with homeowners.
- Complete jobs accurately and on time.
Requirements:
- Previous underground fiber drop installation experience required.
- Must have your own truck, trailer, tools, and equipment.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- General Liability Insurance required.
- Workers’ Compensation policy or exemption (if applicable).
- Must be able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and perform physically demanding work.
