Helpdesk Analyst
Location: Indianapolis, IN 46204
Duration: 8 Months Contract
Work Type: Onsite | In-Person Only
Responsibilities:
Respond to inquiries from healthcare providers, public health agencies, and internal users.
Investigate and resolve duplicate patient records and bad merges in the immunization registry.
Use deduplication tools, data matching, and record linkage techniques to maintain data integrity.
Escalate complex issues to technical or data quality teams when necessary.
Log all support interactions in ServiceNow or other ticketing systems.
Provide end-user support and training on best practices for data entry and record management.
Collaborate with IT and public health data teams to improve data quality metrics and workflows.
Assist in testing system enhancements and generate data quality trend reports.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Health Informatics, IT, Public Health, or related field.
4.5 years of experience in a helpdesk, data quality, or healthcare IT support role.
Strong knowledge of deduplication tools, record linkage, and data matching techniques.
Familiarity with immunization information systems and public health data standards (HL7).
Proficiency in ServiceNow and Microsoft Office Suite.
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and customer service skills.
Understanding of HIPAA and data privacy regulations.
Experience working with state or local public health departments preferred.
