Minimum Requirements
We are looking for a solar technician I:
Responsibilities:
- Maintenance of Solar facilities by utilizing mechanical and electronic testing equipment (i.e., voltage testers, amp clamps, oscilloscopes, and various hand and power tools)
- High voltage and sub-station maintenance
- Diagnose and resolve faults on solar equipment as they relate to mechanical and electrical problems
- Perform pad mounted Transformer switching in accordance with all Lock Out / Tag Out Procedures
- Perform corrective tasks on solar equipment
- Complete EH&S Documentation, Pre-Job-Briefs, and any other necessary paperwork (work order, timesheet, tool and PPE inventory, and additional paperwork as necessary) using Maximo
- Operate grounds keeping equipment including but not limited to weed eaters and lawn movers
- Work as scheduled during the week and on call as required by manager
- Willing to travel and assist other solar facilities when needed.
