Essential Duties:
- Conduct internal audits to evaluate the effectiveness of financial controls, operational processes, and compliance with company policies
- Review and assess internal control systems to ensure accuracy, reliability, and regulatory compliance
- Identify risks, control gaps, and areas for process improvement across departments
- Perform financial, operational, and compliance audits according to established audit plans
- Analyze financial records, transactions, and supporting documentation to verify accuracy and adherence to policies
- Prepare clear audit reports summarizing findings, recommendations, and corrective actions
- Work with department leaders to develop and implement corrective action plans
- Monitor and follow up on audit findings to ensure timely resolution
- Evaluate compliance with laws, regulations, and internal procedures
- Assist with risk assessments and development of annual audit plans
- Support external auditors during annual audits and financial reviews
- Maintain detailed documentation of audit work and findings in accordance with professional standards
- Promote a culture of accountability, transparency, and strong internal controls
Requirements:
- EDUCATION: Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field
- EXPERIENCE: 4-6 years of experience with internal controls, risk management, and audit procedures
- LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS: CPA, CIA, or CISA certifications preferred
- Proven ability to work independently and complete operational and SOX audits from planning through execution and reporting
- Hands-on experience with leading multiple projects at the same time
- Knowledge and experience with Oracle JD Edwards preferred
- TRAVEL: Ability to travel up to 25% of the time (may inlcude international travel)
- OTHER:
- Submit to and satisfactorily complete pre-employment background, medical, alcohol, and drug screening
- Must possess a valid Driver’s License
