Your Role

A Land Development/Site Design Project Manager with experience in civil engineering analysis, design and project management on a variety of municipal, commercial and private development projects, including stormwater, complete/green streets projects, multiuse paths, grading, water and sewer pipelines, pump stations, retaining walls, bridges and related ancillary structures.

• Civil Engineering infrastructure design that includes grading, hydraulic design, erosion control, storm drainage, water distribution, and sanitary sewer collection systems;
• Work directly with clients, project design teams and technical support staff to collaboratively design projects;
• Perform conceptual and detailed design calculations and analyses;
• Support preparation of detailed engineering reports and supporting documents;
• Support preparation of construction drawings, specifications and cost estimates;
• Ensure standard engineering practices and inclusion of appropriate documentation on various reports and design projects;
• Evaluate alternatives, resolve technical issues and interface with other engineering disciplines;
• Resolve questions, plan, coordinate, and execute work in a safe, timely, cost effective and compliant manner;
• Provide construction support services including field meetings, submittal review, shop drawing review, respond to Request for Information (RFI);
• Assist in the preparation of proposals and fee estimates;
• Monitor project financial reports and review monthly invoicing.
• Perform other related duties as assigned
  
  

Qualifications

• BS in Civil Engineering Required
• 10 years of experience
• Colorado professional engineering license required (or PE in another state with the ability to obtain CO PE within 6 months)
• Knowledge of AASHTO Greenbook, CDOT and City/County standards.
• Background will ideally include project work and process knowledge of grading and drainage (using Civil3D), hydrology and hydraulics, and street design.
• Strong communication, report writing, organization, analytical and interpersonal skills.
• Desired background to include experience with municipal, commercial, or residential infrastructure projects that includes the design and permitting of the following types of projects: roadway, street, bikeway, erosion control, grading, storm drainage, water distribution, water quality and sanitary sewer collection systems.
• Strong organizational skills
• Ability to self-direct and self-check plan sets and reports
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil3D, word processing and spreadsheet management programs with working knowledge of applicable codes.
• Experience with Microsoft Office products such as Word and Excel
  
  

Salary Range

PE: $130,000-$165,000, depending on experience.
