PRO-Telligent, LLC, a Tetra Tech Company, needs a Civil Engineer in Ashgabat, Turkmenistan for construction of New US Embassy Compound (NEC) with State Department Bureau of Overseas Buildings Operations (OBO). Requires a US Govt. Secret Security Clearance.
The Project
- 17.3 Acre New US Embassy Compound (NEC) Construction Project in Ashgabat, Turkmenistan
- The new construction includes:
- 6-story NOB (New Office Building)
- 2 CACs (Compound Access Control Facilities)
- Site Development
- We ask for a minimum commitment of 1 year, but 2-3 years are available if you want them.
- Housing and transportation allowances provided.
- Uplift includes 25% of base salary, plus 25% COLA.
- Benefits (medical, dental, vision, 30 days paid time off a year, paid round trip flights home)
Position Description
- Provide NEC project with full range of critical engineering, construction quality assurance, and technical oversight.
- Perform technical inspections of civil and structural work, monitor construction contractor's quality control program, and review project drawings to ensure compliance.
- Observe on-site construction and determine if construction elements are being installed, formed, and executed properly.
- Monitor construction progress with regard to project schedule and submit weekly progress reports with recommendations based on technical review of project documents and field inspections.
Requirements
- US Govt. Secret Clearance or higher
- US Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering
- OR Current US PE license can substitute for degree
- 7 years construction experience
- ABET accredited (not equivalent) international degree accepted in lieu of US Bachelor’s or US PE
