Position Summary
Teton Valley Brands is a leading producer of premium potato chips and snack foods, proudly crafted in Caldwell, Idaho. We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Packaging Operator to join our production team. This position is responsible for operating and maintaining multi-head weighers and form, fill, and seal (FFS) bagging machines to efficiently package our products while ensuring the highest standards of quality, food safety, and consistency.

Key Responsibilities
· Set up, operate, and monitor multi-head scales and form, fill, and seal bagging equipment for potato chips and other snack food products.
· Adjust machine settings for accurate weight control, proper seals, and packaging integrity.
· Perform machine changeovers between product runs, including film replacement, weight adjustments, and coding verification.
· Inspect packaging for accurate labeling, seal quality, and proper weight throughout each shift.
· Troubleshoot and resolve basic equipment issues; escalate mechanical or electrical problems as needed.
· Maintain detailed records of production runs, including weights, lot codes, downtime, and waste.
· Clean and sanitize equipment and surrounding work areas to meet GMP, HACCP, and food safety standards.
· Follow all company safety policies and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
· Work closely with the production and maintenance teams to achieve daily throughput goals.
· Support a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications
· High school diploma or GED required.
· 1–2 years of experience operating automated packaging or production equipment preferred, food manufacturing experience a plus.
· Working knowledge of multi-head weighers (e.g., Ishida, Yamato) and form-fill-seal baggers (e.g., Matrix, Bosch, TNA) preferred.
· Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to make safe, effective equipment adjustments.
· Understanding of food safety, quality, and sanitation standards.
· Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for long periods.
· Good communication skills and attention to detail.
· Willingness to work flexible shifts, including weekends or overtime when required.

· Fast-paced snack food production environment with exposure to noise, warm temperatures, and food-grade oils.
