What are the responsibilities and job description for the Fuel Transport Driver position at TETON PETROLEUM TRANSPORT LLC?
Teton Petroleum Transport (TPT) is currently seeking a Fuel Transport Driver. This role will load, haul, and deliver fuel for our customers in the Denver, CO area. Our drivers are usually home every day with limited over the road deliveries. The Company offers a competitive salary and benefits package and has newer equipment.
The Fuel Transport Driver will primarily be focused on:
- Drive to and from loading and delivery locations
- Load and unload Fuel
- Complete required delivery paperwork
- Follow all company and DOT safety requirements
- Ensure truck, trailer and associated equipment are clean and in good working order.
- Report any incidents or mechanical issues immediately to management
Qualifications:
The preferred candidate for the Fuel Transport Driver will have the following:
- One or more years tanker experience and/or two or more years' experience over the road.
- Possess a valid Class A CDL
- Able to obtain Hazmat and Tanker endorsements.
- Acceptable driving record.
- Able to obtain other FMCSA endorsements as required by the Company.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Able to drive for extended periods of time.
- Able to climb stairs and ladders, kneel, bend, and stoop.
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Able to push or pull equipment, hoses, and other items.
- Able to move about loading, unloading, and customer sites to complete responsibilities.
