What We Offer
The experienced bookkeeper is responsible for managing the monthly bookkeeping for approximately 40 accounts. There are three staff that prepare the monthly bookkeeping and this position will be reviewing their work and, in some cases, preparing. This position will work directly with multiple firm clients in performing monthly accounting duties.

The experienced bookkeeper is responsible for managing the monthly bookkeeping for approximately 40 accounts. There are three staff that prepare the monthly bookkeeping and this position will be reviewing their work and, in some cases, preparing. This position will work directly with multiple firm clients in performing monthly accounting duties.
The responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Work with clients to gather information
- Review financial statements and provide review points
- Review account reconciliations
- Prepare/Review journal entries
- Review general ledger accounts for input accuracy
- Review and understand payroll reports
- Review and understand sales tax reports
- Prepare and/or review expense reports for accuracy and proper expense disclosure

- 5 years of bookkeeping/accounting experience with small businesses
- QuickBooks Online Certified
- Must be proficient with Outlook, Microsoft Office, Word, and Excel
- Must be personable and comfortable communicating with business owners
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Good time management skills and ability to meet deadlines
- Attention to detail
- 5 years
- Associate’s/Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting is a plus but we value professional experience as well
