Position Overview
The Shipping & Receiving Associate plays a critical role in ensuring medical devices are properly received, processed, cleaned, tracked, and shipped to patients in a timely and compliant manner. This position requires strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to follow established procedures in a regulated healthcare environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Ship and receive medical devices to and from patients
- Process incoming returned equipment
- Clean and sanitize medical devices according to company procedures
- Perform quality control checks on equipment
- Prepare and package outgoing shipments accurately
- Maintain accurate device tracking using internal computer software systems
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate restocking needs to management
- Organize and stock equipment in designated storage areas
- Follow HIPAA guidelines and maintain patient confidentiality at all times
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation
