Job Summary
TestPros is seeking an Acquisition Analyst III in the National Capital region for a federal contract. The ideal candidate will be responsible for producing, managing, and enhancing business processes to improve the governments Organization or Program performance using data.
Position: Full-time
Citizenship: U.S. Citizenship
Location: Washington, DC/Arlington, VA
Clearance: CBP/DHS suitability clearance
Responsibilities and Duties
- Analyze broadly stated project requirements and, through research and meeting with stakeholders, provide recommendations for improving key performance parameters, key system attributes, and additional requirements.
- Review requirement documentation to establish and maintain a streamlined systems acquisition process.
- Organize, lead, and attend integrated product team meetings for robust and open communications about requirements, acquisition strategies, Government-contractor team performance, and to provide information to Government decision makers.
- Monitor and evaluate the progress of assigned projects throughout a highly tailored and streamlined acquisition process to ensure projects meet requirements, budgetary goals, and schedule milestones.
- Prepare periodic and ad hoc reports and briefings highlighting progress against performance metrics, key events, budgetary performance, testing, and schedule milestones.
- Participate in all phases of the systems engineering process including requirements development, systems requirements reviews, design reviews, test readiness reviews, and acceptance testing.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- 8-11 years of experience in engineering field.
- Bachelors degree in STEM field, Masters degree preferred.
- CBP/DHS suitability clearance.
Desired Qualifications and Skills
- Master’s degree in STEM field
- Previous experience with CBP or DHS
- Previous experience in Systems Engineering, acquisition, test and evaluation.
- Understanding of Systems acquisition lifecycle (e.g. ALF and MD-102).
- Familiarity with IEEE standard 1012, IEEE Standard 829-1998, and the DHS SELC.
- Excellent writing, communications and briefing skills.
- Certifications from DAU and DAWIA in Acquisition or test and evaluation are desired.
