Key Responsibilities:
- Architect and lead enterprise-scale AWS serverless solutions using AWS Lambda and event-driven architectures.
- Define architecture standards, conduct design reviews, code reviews, and production readiness reviews across the full SDLC.
- Design scalable distributed systems, streaming data pipelines, and microservices using AWS services.
- Review and guide infrastructure as code using CDK or Terraform while enforcing engineering best practices.
- Design optimized DynamoDB data models, access patterns, and scalable document database solutions.
- Work with TypeScript/Node.js applications, OpenSearch, MongoDB, and event-driven services such as Kinesis, SQS, and EventBridge.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to improve software architecture, system reliability, and AI-assisted development practices.
Required Skills:
- 15 years of software engineering experience with 6 years focused on AWS serverless architecture.
- Strong hands-on expertise with AWS Lambda, Serverless Architecture, and distributed systems.
- Excellent experience with Node.js and TypeScript.
- Strong knowledge of DynamoDB data modeling, single-table design, GSI strategies, and performance optimization.
- Experience with Kinesis, SQS, EventBridge, streaming architectures, and event-driven systems.
- Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code using CDK or Terraform.
- Experience with MongoDB, DocumentDB, Couchbase, OpenSearch, or Elasticsearch.
- Strong experience conducting architecture reviews, code reviews, and technical leadership across enterprise projects.
