Job Summary:

We’re seeking a highly skilled, detail-oriented SDET to join our team and help deliver exceptional products. The ideal candidate should possess strong technical expertise and a comprehensive understanding of various levels of automation, including both functional (UI, API) and non-functional (performance) testing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Designing and implementing robust test strategies and automation frameworks.
- Driving automation across functional testing (UI, API) and non-functional testing (performance).
- Strong technical expertise in test automation tools, frameworks, and scripting languages.
- Design, plan, and execute manual and automated tests for web and API applications.
- Develop test plans, provide accurate testing estimates, and communicate issues effectively.
- Perform Web Services/API testing using tools like JMeter or similar.
- Analyze test results, identify defects, and work closely with development teams for resolution.
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and QE team members to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
- Track and report test execution progress and quality metrics.
- Comprehensive understanding of the software testing lifecycle
- A passion for quality engineering and continuous improvement
Required Qualifications:
- 4 years of QE/testing experience in Agile environments.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Strong understanding of SDLC/STLC, RESTful APIs, HTTP protocols, and JSON/XML.
- Hands-on experience with Selenium/WebDriver and API testing tools like JMeter.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab, Azure DevOps).
- Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and communication abilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with JMeter, Postman, or RestAssured for API testing.
- Basic programming knowledge in Java, Python, or JavaScript.
- Knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
