About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Home Health Aide to join our team in Georgia Healthcare, GAHS1. As a Home Health Aide, you will be responsible for providing quality patient care in a home setting. Your primary goal will be to assist patients with their daily living activities, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication management. You will work closely with our team of healthcare professionals to ensure that our patients receive the best possible care.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Certification as a Home Health Aide
- Experience in assisted living, long term care, or home care
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with computer data entry
- Bilingual in English and Spanish
Responsibilities:
- Assist patients with personal hygiene, including bathing, grooming, and dressing
- Prepare meals and assist with feeding as needed
- Administer medication as prescribed by the physician
- Assist with mobility and transfer of patients
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients
Skills:
As a Home Health Aide, you will utilize your skills in patient care, priority setting, assisted living, long term care, patience, and sanitization on a daily basis.
