Home Health Aide

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated Home Health Aide to join our team in the Health Care and Social Assistance industry. As a Home Health Aide, you will be responsible for providing compassionate care to patients in their homes. Your primary goal will be to assist patients with their daily living activities, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication management. You will work closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure that patients receive the highest quality care possible.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Certification as a Home Health Aide
• Experience in patient care
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in assisted living or long-term care
• Familiarity with home care services
• Patience and compassion for patients
• Knowledge of sanitization procedures
• Proficiency in computer data entry

Responsibilities:

• Assist patients with personal hygiene, including bathing, grooming, and dressing
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding as needed
• Administer medication as prescribed by healthcare professionals
• Assist with mobility and transfer of patients
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients

Skills:

As a Home Health Aide, you will utilize your skills in patient care, priority setting, assisted living, long-term care, home care, patience, sanitization, and computer data entry on a daily basis.
