As a Tasting Room Sales Associate, You Are The Expert In Sharing Our Wide Selection Of Wines, Philosophy, History, And Passion For High Quality Winemaking! More Importantly, You Have a Way To Connect With People And Foster Relationships That Drive Wine Sales And Promote New Club Memberships. Working At Our Historic Site, The Day-to-day May Include The Following
- Greet guests warmly and provide a friendly, personable and professional introduction to our winery and wines
- Conduct engaging 60-90 minute tastings of our single vineyard and appellation wines in the tasting room or outdoor members patio
- Educate guests about our wine production process, tasting notes, and winery history through a fun and engaging personalized approach
- Communicate all promotions, winery events and experiences
- Promote the sales of wine and merchandise to meet winery goals
- Share about the wine club, it's perks and benefits to gain new memberships
- Maintain cleanliness, inventory and organization of the tasting room and storage areas
- Support the wine educator with special tastings as needed
- Uphold all safety and health protocols to ensure a safe experience for guests and staff
- 1 year of winery and/or sales experience preferred
- General first-hand knowledge of and passion for wine and wine-related topics
- Ability to present product, up sell & cross sell
- Positive team player
- 21 years of age
- Work 1 - 4 shifts/week from ~10:30am-7pm (weekend and holiday availability is required)
- Ability to lift and carry 50lbs frequently, stand, walk, climb stairs, grab, pour, reach, and bend throughout duration of each shift
- Ability to work outdoors in all-weather conditions for the duration of the shift
