Position Summary
Operate powered industrial trucks to load and unload materials and deliveries and move them to and from storage areas, machines and loading docks.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities of the position:
- Unload materials and merchandise from incoming vehicles and stack them to assigned places
- Transport raw materials to production workstations
- Keep updated records of inventory and activity logs
- Store the products in proper places in warehouse
- Deliver products to various units in safely and timely manner
Physical Demands:
- Stand for 8 hrs.
- Walk and bend frequently throughout the day
- Lift 50 lbs.
Work Conditions:
- Warehouse conditions with highly variable temperatures
- Dusty environment, especially when conditions are windy
- Simple math skills
- Ability to read and understand order sheets and labels
- Forklift certification
