What are the responsibilities and job description for the Security Specialist position at Test Resource Management Center?
The primary purpose of the position is the Special Access Program Security liaison within Test Resource Management Center by providing the organization with objective information on highly classified DoW programs, by accomplishing a wide variety of assignments concerned with program security execution and protection of resources.
You may qualify at the NH-4 level, if you fulfill the following qualification requirement:
One year of specialized experience equivalent to the NH-3 grade level in the Federal service (experience may have been gained in the private sector) that demonstrates your ability to execute defined authorities and responsibilities regarding the oversight, implementation, management, and execution of Special Access Programs, and Special Access Program-related activities, in accordance with an agency's Special Access Program policies and procedures.

- Serves as the principal point of contact for all inter-agency issues involving Special Access Program security and corresponding Executive Orders and national policies.
- Responsible for the development, maintenance, update, and coordination of standard operating procedures, emergency action plans, security classification guides, program security plans, and other Special Access Program-related or generated documentation and publications.
- Responsible for administering security education, training, and awareness to Special Access Program accessed personnel (civilian, military, and contractor).
- Responsible for the management and leadership of the Special Access Program security contract support personnel who oversee individual eligibility for Special Access Program access.
