Procurement Manager
NetSuite Expert | Full-Time | On-Site / Hybrid
We are seeking a highly experienced, self-directed Procurement Manager with deep NetSuite expertise to own and lead all aspects of our procurement operations. This is not an entry-level role — we need a seasoned professional who can hit the ground running on day one, independently manage complex procurement workflows, and serve as the internal NetSuite and procurement resource for our leadership team and staff.
You will not be trained — you will do the training.
About the Role
As our Procurement Manager, you will be the single point of accountability for all procurement activity across our organization. You will work directly with manufacturers, franchise partners, and internal stakeholders to ensure seamless sourcing, ordering, and supply chain operations — all managed through NetSuite.
Key Responsibilities

- Configure and manage purchase orders, vendor records, item records, and approval workflows
- Build and maintain dashboards, saved searches, and reports for procurement visibility
- Train leadership and staff on NetSuite procurement processes and best practices
- Identify and implement NetSuite process improvements to increase efficiency
Manufacturer & Vendor Relations

- Negotiate pricing, lead times, and contract terms with suppliers
- Manage vendor performance, resolve disputes, and ensure on-time delivery

Inventory & Reorder Management
- Establish, monitor, and continuously refine reorder points and safety stock levels
- Analyze inventory trends, forecast demand, and prevent stockouts or overstock situations
- Coordinate with operations and warehouse teams to align inventory with business needs
- Maintain accurate item data, lead times, and costs within NetSuite
Order Processing
- Oversee the full purchase order lifecycle from creation through receipt and reconciliation
- Ensure timely and accurate processing of all purchase orders in NetSuite
- Manage three-way matching (PO, receipt, invoice) and resolve discrepancies
- Coordinate with accounts payable to ensure vendor invoices are processed accurately
Franchise Communications
- Act as the procurement liaison for all franchise locations and franchise communications
- Ensure franchise partners have the materials, supplies, and vendor access they need
- Standardize and communicate procurement policies, pricing, and approved vendor lists
- Support franchise onboarding with procurement systems setup and training
Training & Process Development
- Develop and deliver procurement training programs for management and staff
- Create SOPs, process documentation, and reference guides for all procurement functions
- Mentor team members on NetSuite usage, procurement best practices, and vendor management
- Proactively identify gaps in current processes and implement scalable solutions
Required Qualifications
- 5 years of procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management experience
- Demonstrated, hands-on NetSuite expertise — including PO workflows, vendor management, inventory modules, and reporting
- Proven ability to manage manufacturer and vendor relationships independently
- Experience setting reorder points, managing inventory levels, and demand forecasting
- Experience with franchise or multi-location operations strongly preferred
- Strong negotiation skills with a track record of favorable vendor terms
- Ability to train, develop, and mentor non-procurement staff at all levels
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication skills across all levels of an organization
- Candidate must pass a background check and drug test
Preferred Qualifications
- NetSuite certification (Administrator, ERP Consultant, or similar)
- Experience developing procurement SOPs and training materials from scratch
- Background in manufacturing, plumbing, fire protection, or cross connection
- Familiarity with EDI, vendor portals, or supply chain management software
- Experience supporting rapid growth or scaling operations
