Description

This position requires the employee to work closely with TESSERE’s IT team to support the daily operations of our organization. This employee is primarily responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of all IT infrastructure, including software, hardware, networking, and servers. The employee will be expected to act as a mentor to other IT staff to help broaden their skillsets and understanding of continued infrastructure improvements.

Responsibilities

• Installing, configuring, troubleshooting, and updating hardware and software systems.
• Performing backups, security checks, and user support.
• Participating in various IT projects and initiatives, such as CMMC, cloud migration, network optimization, and system automation.
• Documenting and reporting on system performance and issues.
• Testing and debugging software applications and features.
• Integrating and analyzing data from various sources.
• Researching and learning new technologies and frameworks.

Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities

• Extensive knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems and networking protocols.
• Willingness to learn new technologies and best practices.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Good communication, collaboration, and teamwork skills.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Knowledge of at least one programming language, such as Python, Java, C#, or JavaScript preferred.

Requirements

• Current enrollment in a relevant degree program, such as computer science, software engineering, or related fields
