Job Description
Are you a safety-focused plant operator who takes pride in keeping operations running smoothly, efficiently and safely? Do you enjoy hands-on work, troubleshooting equipment, and being part of a team that looks out for one another? If so, this is an exciting opportunity to join our operations team as an Operator C at our Burley, Idaho facility!

What Youβll Do
β Operate the facility in accordance with company policies, operating procedures, and all applicable OSHA, EPA, DOT and environmental regulations
β Load and unload trucks and railcars safely and efficiently
β Monitor, read and record process instrumentation and collect product samples to ensure quality standards are met
β Troubleshoot process and equipment irregularities, and recommend operational adjustments as needed
β Perform routine inspections of vessels, piping, valves and equipment to prevent failures or unsafe conditions
β Participate actively in plant safety programs, including safety meetings, inspections and hazard reporting
β Support maintenance activities, including turnarounds, lockout/tagout, confined space entries and equipment preparation
β Assist with emergency response activities and facility start-ups, including P&ID walkdowns and system testing
β Maintain a clean, organized and safe work environment across all plant areas
β Support updates to operating procedures, labeling, valve tagging and safety signage
β Work extended hours, holidays, weekends and overtime, and be available for call-outs as required
Qualifications
What Youβll Bring
β High school diploma or GED
β HAZWOPER Technician-level certification (required)
β Strong mechanical aptitude and technical understanding of industrial equipment and processes
β Working knowledge of pumps, compressors, heat exchangers, piping systems, valves and basic chemistry
β Ability to follow operating procedures, safety programs and emergency response plans consistently
β Experience operating motorized equipment such as forklifts, skid steers, tractors or similar plant vehicles
β Basic computer skills and the ability to document readings, reports and operational data
β Strong communication skills and a professional, team-oriented mindset
β Willingness to complete and pass all required training, written exams and practical evaluations

- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and occasionally exert higher force using mechanical devices
- Comfortable climbing ladders, stairways and working at heights
- Ability to work in confined spaces and wear required PPE for extended periods
- Medically cleared and fit-tested to wear full-face respirators and SCBA when required
- Able to work indoors and outdoors in extreme noise and weather conditions
