What You’ll Do
✅ Oversee and actively manage dispatching for 20,000 annual shipments across multiple modes (bulk liquid, LTL, intermodal, dry van).
✅ Lead and develop a team of Delivery Specialists, setting performance, safety and service standards.
✅ Maintain compliance with DOT regulations and internal policies.
✅ Analyze transportation performance, negotiate carrier agreements and implement KPIs.
✅ Support logistics software improvements and drive continuous cost and service optimization.
Qualifications
What We’re Looking For
✔ Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in transportation/supply chain.
✔ 5 years in transportation/logistics, including dispatch and supervisory roles.
✔ Proficiency in Excel; strong operational and negotiation skills.
✔ Deep knowledge of DOT regulations (CFR 49) and transportation best practices.
✔ Ability to manage people while remaining fully engaged in daily operations.
