Senior Supply Chain Analyst

An exciting career as a Senior Supply Chain Analyst on-site in Hunt Valley, MD is available at Tessco! As part of Tessco’s Supply Chain team, you will be responsible for managing inventory required to meet customer demand. This role requires an understanding of customer requirements, collaboration with a wide variety of departments and external manufacturing partners. The successful candidate will have direct purchasing/supply planning experience, offer a high level of analytical capability, solid leadership skills and a commitment to delivering results.

Responsibilities

• Lead demand and supply planning activities for key customers and warehouses
• Publish KPI reports to include service level, inventory and forecast accuracy
• Conduct root cause analysis and develop action plans to drive supply chain KPIs
• Manage supply planning stocking strategy and system inputs (safety stock levels, lead-times, buying schemas, etc)
• Create customer forecast and upload into ERP
• Maintain inventory balances between Tessco facilities and transfer material as needed
• Participate in customer supply chain business reviews to report results and drive collaborative actions for improvement
• Collaborate with all functional areas of the business: Sales, Marketing, Demand Planning, Finance, Sales Operations, and Logistics to solve problems and identify business improvement opportunities
  
  

Qualifications

• BS Degree in Supply Chain Management/Business Administration preferred
• Experience with supply planning or procurement
• Supplier negotiation experience, Supply Chain certification (APICS, etc.) and knowledge of supply chain management principles and best practices preferred
  
  

Salary Range: $60,000 - $70,000
