JOB TITLERN or Paramedic – Weekend IV Therapy Clinician (Part-Time / PRN)JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARYTesoro Life, a modern wellness and recovery clinic in Parker, Colorado, is seeking two skilled RNs or Paramedics to join our weekend IV therapy team. This role is ideal for clinicians confident in venous access, IV administration, patient monitoring, and delivering safe, high-quality care in a wellness-focused environment. You will oversee IV therapy sessions, administer IM injections, monitor patients, maintain clinical documentation, and ensure safety and compliance with established protocols. Work in a supportive, low-stress outpatient setting where patients are motivated by health, fitness, recovery, longevity, and alternative wellness practices.RESPONSIBILITIESInitiate and manage peripheral IV access using aseptic technique.Prepare IV setups, including hanging fluids, reconstituting vials, and adding vitamins/minerals per protocol.Administer intramuscular (IM) injections.Monitor and document vital signs (BP, HR, SpO2).Review patient intake forms, medical history, and screen for contraindications.Observe patients throughout infusions and respond to adverse reactions.Document all treatments accurately in the EMR system.Maintain a clean, organized, OSHA-compliant IV lounge environment.Communicate promptly with the medical director regarding patient care concerns.Assist with inventory management and proper labeling of IV admixtures.Provide calm, supportive patient interaction and education.Participate in training, competency checks, and protocol updates as needed.Support clinic flow and ensure a positive patient experience during weekend hours.QUALIFICATIONSActive Colorado RN or Paramedic license.Current BLS/CPR certification.Proven experience with venipuncture, IV insertion, IV administration, and IM injections.Strong understanding of vital signs, contraindication screening, and basic IV-related pharmacology.Excellent attention to detail, patient safety, and aseptic practice.Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.Strong communication and interpersonal skills; professional and calm demeanor.PREFERRED EXPERIENCE & ATTRIBUTESPrior experience in IV therapy clinics, med spas, infusion centers, EMS, or outpatient settings.Genuine interest in health optimization, fitness, recovery, longevity, and preventive or functional medicine.Ability to engage and educate wellness-focused clients.Familiarity with hydration therapy, micronutrient support, recovery protocols, and performance optimization.Comfort using EMR/EHR systems.PERKS & BENEFITSPredictable weekend shifts (Sat & Sun, 10 AM–2 PM).Competitive PRN compensation.Low-stress outpatient environment.Opportunity to work in a growing, innovative wellness practice.Supportive team culture.COMPENSATION & DETAILSPay: $30–$35 per hour, based on experienceSchedule: Saturdays & Sundays, 10:00 AM – 2:00 PMPositions Available: 2 Part-Time / PRN openingsCompany DescriptionTesoro Life is a cutting-edge wellness and health-optimization clinic where clients and staff share a passion for fitness, longevity, and vitality.
