Warehouse Associate - Recieving

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work: This is a full-time position. The hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Occasional evening and weekend work and/or overtime work may be required as job duties demand.

Pay: $18

Summary: The Receiver will ensure that outbound products are safely packed for transport, all shipping documents are attached to shipments, shipments are loaded onto proper trucks, and all shipments are completed each day.

Essential Job Duties

• Ensures inbound product is counted correctly.
• Ensures product is appropriately located in the warehouse.
• Assists with cycle counts.
• Follows rules, regulations, and policies.
• Maintains detailed and accurate work records.
• Works with the team to meet objectives.
• Maintains healthy working relationships with team members and/or other employees.
• Provide updates on work they have accomplished that day.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
• Safely operate a forklift and other warehouse equipment.
• Scan the documentation to the appropriate people.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Novice-level computer skills to include Excel, Word, and Outlook.

• Thorough understanding of warehouse procedures and regulations.
• Ability to use FedEx and UPS systems.
• Ability to learn QuickBooks and Astea to complete all job-related tasks within 6 months.
• Reliable attendance

Required Education and Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Supervisory responsibilities: This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Work Environment: This job operates in a warehouse setting.

Physical Demands (The physical demands described here represent those that an employee must meet to perform the essential functions of this job successfully).

• This is an active role, requiring Prolonged periods of standing and walking on the production floor

• Ability to lift 10-20 pounds.
• Ability to lift 40 pounds periodically.
• Repetitive motion of the hands and arms.
• Ability to frequently twist, reach, bend, and stoop.
• Normal vision (with or without corrective lenses) is required for this position.
