Maintenance Technician

Tesoro Group is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician join one of our long term client's team at (1) of their properties in Woodridge, IL (60517). The ideal candidate will have 2 years' experience in residential maintenance, have experience with unit turns, have knowledge of basic maintenance, be self-motivated, be able to organize multiple tasks throughout the day and is self-sufficient. CPO experience or certification is preferred. Experience with Entrata is highly preferred. This role is contract to hire (30-90 days before conversion) or can go direct hire with the right candidate.This role will be working with (1) community with 176 market rate units.Salary: $24-$26/hour DOQ - This role is contract to hire (30-90 days before conversion) or can go direct hire with the right candidate.Schedule: Monday-Friday: 8:00-5:00 OR M-F (possible Tues-Sat).Responsibilities and Job Duties:Assist in the preparation of market-ready units and monitor the condition of move-ins for the week. Check units just prior to move-ins for final condition.Routine work orders must be responded to within twenty-four (24) hours and completed within the same time frame, when possible.Maintenance of swimming pool, amenity areas, spas, and fountains.Maintenance, daily cleaning, and repair of common areas (including sweeping, washing, and general cleaning).Monitor security - all vacant units, outside doors of the clubhouse, and other maintenance and/or common facilities and amenities. Ensure doors are locked. General property safety and security and accident prevention, including key control.Maintain a professional demeanor with residents.Communicate regularly with the Maintenance Supervisor or Community Manager regarding issues and recommendations for property improvements.Complete work orders including items such as appliance repairs, heating, and cooling systems, painting, light plumbing work, and light fixture replacement. Must have the ability to work weekends when necessary and be on-call as needed.Must have a valid driver's license and reliable personal transportation.Qualifications and Experience:2 years' experience in residential maintenance.Be able to pass a background check before employment.Experience with CPO is required, certifications are preferred.HVAC experience/certification is required.Experience with Entrata is highly preferred.Have a valid driver's license and valid auto insurance – as this role will be roving between properties.Tesoro Group is a leading provider of specialized talent solutions dedicated to connecting exceptional individuals with exciting career opportunities across various industries.
