The instructor will focus on enhancing students' reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills to facilitate their personal and professional development. What you will be doing * Provides instruction in English as a Second Language (ESL) designed to adult learners seeking to improve their communication skills for academic, professional, or personal advancement
Prepares and delivers comprehensive ESL lessons that cater to various proficiency levelsUtilizes diverse teaching methodologies to accommodate different learning stylesEvaluates student progress through assessments and provide individualized supportIncorporates cultural and real-life contexts into lessons to enhance learningMaintains accurate records of attendance and academic performance.Designs and delivers ESL instruction to students with varying levels of English proficiencyPrepares lesson plans that incorporate reading, writing, speaking, and listening skillsUtilizes culturally relevant teaching strategies and authentic materialsAssesses student language progress through formative and summative assessmentsProvides individualized support to meet diverse student needsIncorporates digital tools and multimedia resources into instructionMaintains accurate records of student attendance and academic progressDevelops a welcoming and inclusive classroom environmentCollaborates with program staff on curriculum development and student supportParticipates in professional development and language instruction trainingPerforms other duties as assignedWhat you need to succeed Bachelor”s degree in TESOL, Linguistics, Education, or a related field and at least 2 years of experience teaching ESL to adult learnersExcellent communication and cross-cultural skills.* Strong understanding of language acquisition theories and ESL teaching strategies
