High School ELL Teacher Full-Time and Part-Time

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons to build English listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills
• Adapt instruction to meet the needs of students at varying levels of English proficiency
• Collaborate with classroom teachers to support ELL students across subjects
• Assess and monitor student progress, adjusting instruction and providing targeted interventions
• Support students' academic and cultural integration into the school community
• Communicate regularly with families, administrators, and staff to ensure student growth and success
  
  

Qualifications:

• Valid teaching certification in ESL/ELL (or eligibility for licensure)
• Bachelor's degree in Education, TESOL, Linguistics, or a related field required; Master's degree preferred
• Prior teaching experience with English Language Learners strongly preferred
• Knowledge of second language acquisition strategies and culturally responsive teaching practices
• Strong communication, patience, and collaboration skills

• Competitive pay rates typically range from $64,000-94,000 , depending on role, location, and experience
