What To Expect
The Workplace Specialist supports the planning, execution, and maintenance of Tesla's workplace environments across the Los Angeles region. This role ensures operational continuity, safety compliance, and high-quality standards across office and facility spaces. Responsibilities include managing repair and maintenance programs, supporting facility upgrades and commissioning, conducting site inspections, and coordinating with vendors and internal stakeholders. The role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.

What You'll Do

  • Manage repair and maintenance programs across multiple sites, including work order tracking, invoice review, and documentation management to ensure timely resolution of facility issues
  • Conduct regular site walks and facility audits to assess conditions, identify deficiencies, and draft corrective action task lists
  • Manage relationships with third-party vendors, suppliers, and property management teams to ensure service level agreements and Tesla standards are consistently met
  • Assist in the commissioning of new facilities and implementation of upgrades, supporting project timelines, scope adherence, and cost management
  • Uphold Tesla's workplace standards for organization, cleanliness, and safety, ensuring all activities align with EHS protocols and company policies
  • Utilize internal ticketing systems to manage service requests, track resolution progress, and maintain high customer satisfaction across all workplace support interactions
  • Perform site visits across the Los Angeles area and support occasional domestic travel up to 25% based on business needs


  • What You'll Bring

  • Degree in Facilities Management, Business Administration, or equivalent experience
  • 2 years of experience in facilities operations, workplace services, project coordination, or a related administrative or operational role
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams) and document management tools; experience with BlueBeam Revu is a plus
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced, high-growth environment with minimal guidance
  • Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and leadership levels
  • Valid driver's license and an acceptable driving record required for regional site travel
  • Ability to adapt to shifting business priorities and support evolving operational and location-based needs across the NAM Energy Workplace Team

  • Expected Compensation

    $72,200 - $148,200/annual salary cash and stock awards benefits

    Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
