What You'll Do
Collaborate with hardware engineering and production teams to take actuator design through prototype development and into volume production Provide design for manufacturing feedback to simplify designs for highest production efficiency and scalability Develop adaptable pilot assembly processes to support product design iteration and variable quality of incoming material Develop flexible machine concepts for high-volume production minimizing complexity and cost while maximizing number of supported product variants Generate machine specifications, process documentation and manufacturing instructions Identify and resolve a diverse range of equipment mechanical, electrical, controls and software issues in production
What You'll Bring
Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks, Catia, and AutoCAD preferred) Proficiency in mechanical assembly methods, electrical integration, testing and troubleshooting Strong hands-on experience with pilot and high-volume manufacturing, and the transition between Proven track record of data-driven methodology to solve multi-faceted problems Ability to remain highly productive and organized while managing competing priorities and tight deadlines Degree in Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering, or equivalent experience
