What to Expect
As the Sr. Regional Sales Manager at Tesla, you will play a pivotal and multifaceted role in steering the success of operations across a designated territory. Your core responsibility is to drive market share growth and deliver exceptional customer experiences. As a Senior RM you shape the long-term strategic direction across multi-regions and influence initiatives across the business. This involves overseeing the immediate execution of operations by implementing both short term & long-term strategic planning to scale our business & expand our customer base. Your leadership will be instrumental in scaling the future of autonomous vehicles, expanding reach, and ensuring increased profitability within the territory.

In this position, you will have the opportunity to directly impact and contribute to Tesla's mission by bringing the vision of autonomy to life by enabling world class experiences of our products across regions. This role demands a keen balance between the macro and micro aspects of operational management, from shaping overarching strategies to ensuring the meticulous execution of day-to-day activities.


What You'll Do
  • Lead a team of regional sales managers to achieve monthly and quarterly goals, ensuring excellence in customer service, team management, operations, and financial performance
  • Actively coach, mentor, and develop Regional Sales Managers and store/delivery leadership teams by reinforcing a culture of leadership and team excellence. Build succession plans, create individualized development plans, and consistently raise the caliber of leadership across the region
  • Utilize reports and dashboards to provide feedback on strategic direction and implement process management changes. Leverage data and business insights to inform decisions, optimize processes, and strengthen cross-functional partnerships and commercial performance
  • Develop deep fluency in local market dynamics, sales processes, DMV/title requirements, and partner closely with Fleet, Logistics, and Service teams to optimize the end-to-end customer journey
  • Build robust cross-functional relationships with key stakeholders across departments, developing market strategy and commercial awareness
  • Own end-to-end regional performance, driving results in quality, productivity, cost, revenue/margin, and overall operational output
  • Establish and execute regional strategy and business plans, including market expansion, resource allocation, and growth initiatives

What You'll Bring
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent professional experience
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire a team while managing multiple projects and adhering to business-critical deadlines
  • Excellent analytical, verbal/written communication, and sales skills
  • Effective at using data, logic, and instincts to identify problems and execute solutions
  • Experience running complex processes using Lean or other techniques; prior P&L experience required
  • Ability to travel up to 75%
  • Valid driver’s license required

Expected Compensation
$148,200 - $222,300/annual salary cash and stock awards benefits

Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
