Multiple Locations Possible: Palo Alto, CA; Fremont, CA
Global business development is a small but mighty team that works to analyze markets, shape emerging business models, and advise the energy business on how best to meet Tesla's mission of accelerating the transition to sustainable energy. During this project, the intern will work with other teams across the business to seek their input and refine the offer.
The focus of this role will be to conduct analysis on the residential, commercial and/or utility sectors to prove out future trends in terms of energy use, and the products and customer offerings needed to serve these markets.
What You'll Do
Conducting a market size for a particular segment group Determining the key drivers of uptake for a new customer offer Working with the product team to determine how we meet the ideal customer offer Presenting the business case to the key business stakeholders – Finance, Sales, Product and Engineering
What You'll Bring
Currently pursuing a degree in Economics or Engineering or a related field Demonstrated and extensive analytical skills Ability to clearly communicate concepts and support hypothesis with data Ability to work across multiple teams to gain input and consensus Background in energy (preferred)

Expected Compensation
$20.00 - $50.00/hour benefits
Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
