What You'll Do
Analyze, review, and interpret insurance policies to accurately assess coverage and liability Manage claims of simple to moderate complexity, including single-vehicle and non-disputed accidents Establish and maintain appropriate loss and expense reserves for assigned claims Evaluate the need for further investigation on complex claims to ensure a fair and equitable resolution for all parties involved Oversee and direct the work performed by independent adjusters or appraisers to ensure quality and compliance Thoroughly document, verify, and review damages to support claim evaluations Facilitate timely payments to insureds, claimants, and/or service providers
What You'll Bring
High level of attention to detail which is critical for accuracy of routing Possess necessary speed and efficiency to process a large volume of work to meet tight deadlines Have great clerical and organizational skills to ensure proper record keeping Onsite presence is required every day Property and Casualty (P&C) adjuster’s license in the state of domicile, plus non-resident adjuster’s licenses in all other states where required—or the ability to obtain them within 60 days of starting
