You will coach your team to elevate their approach, and develop and implement processes that continuously raise the bar on service quality.
People Leadership: You lead by example. You prioritize your team's success, foster open communication, active problem-solving, and a positive work environment. You will inspire and coach your team to meet daily and long-term goals, and collaborate with fellow Energy Managers to drive the growth and development of every individual on your team.
Operational Excellence: You maintain a comprehensive understanding of your service center's performance and partner with Service leaders to improve efficiency and eliminate waste. You will facilitate high-performing teams, promote safety, quality, and continuous improvement, and ensure that excellence is reflected in every decision you make.
Financial Acumen: You know your numbers. You understand how daily operations connect to broader business outcomes, and you drive results across productivity, quality, output, cost, and revenue and margin where applicable.
What You'll Do
Effectively manage, coach, and develop assigned technical leadership to achieve the required quality and service goals while upkeeping morale and culture standards Keep open communication with key stakeholders to establish targets for quality, speed and cost in line with customer and business needs Work with employees to resolve technical and personnel problems Conduct regularly scheduled one-on-one developmental meetings with team members to facilitate their professional development Collaborate with business partners to scale and grow the service production team in support of company targets Perform other duties as assigned by the Service Manager Collaborate with Engineering, Developers, and project managers to execute improvements
What You'll Bring
2 years’ experience leading in a technical or engineering environment Prior experience in the Residential Energy industry including Solar and Battery backup systems Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Ability to work with steady composure while under pressure in a deadline-driven environment Strong understanding of electrical, structural, and engineering concepts Ability to work business to business with other industry professionals at a high level in a fast paced environment Strong technical skills in Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint
