What You'll Do
Responsible for leading a team of architectsto collaborate in a multi disciplined environment
Lead all architectural design concept evaluations and decisions, leading to completion of construction drawings for permit and construction execution
Manage multiple projects throughout planning,design, and supportbidding, and constructionphases
Responsible for developing architectural design packages for permitting and constructionReview and developarchitectural design packages for permitting and construction as well asdesigns that are cost effective, constructable, code compliant while meeting Tesla's quality and schedule requirements
Present design concepts and progress at project milestones (30%, 60%, 90%, IFC) design reviews to stakeholders and multi-discipline teams
Develop process improvements, workflows, templates to increase design productivity, and documentpermitexemption lists, AM&Ms, Variances withlocaljurisdictions
What You'll Bring
Degree inArchitecture or equivalent experience
Minimum of 10 years Architectural designexperience andLicensed Architect in state of California or ability toacquirestate license
Experience in architectural design of buildings for high-tech infrastructure, industrial, or operational facilities (semiconductor, solar, battery, etc.)
Proficient in the use of various computer programs such as Microsoft Office Suite, Bluebeam, AutoCAD,Revitand Navisworks
Professional design experience in a wide range of project types including manufacturing facilities, utility plants, office, mission critical/data centers, restaurant, high tech/R&D,bio-tech/pharmaceutical and industrial
Construction Administration experience including site observation visits and review of RFIs, and shop drawings

Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered. Salary : $120,000 - $180,000
