Tesla's Asset Technician Semi Service Supervisors are the leaders of our Service Center floor teams. In this role, you willbe responsible forleading an engaged team of technicians while delivering an exceptional service experience. The ideal candidate for this roleis capable of drivingexcellent results and delivering operational efficiency in our service centers.
What You'll Do
- Provide effective supervision and coaching to technical employees, ensuring the achievement of required quality and service output goals
- Act as the process leader for shop activities by systematically improving work standards with input from service technicians and the service center team
- Managesmooth workflow through the service center andmaintainshop records and inventories
- Collaborate with the Semi Service Manager and key stakeholders toestablishtargets for quality, speed, and cost aligned with customer and business needs
- Ensure current andaccuratework standards and engineering procedures,maintainingcompliance for maximum quality
- Monitor employee compliance with safety regulations and the service center's safety program
- Conduct regularly scheduled one-on-one developmental meetings with team members tofacilitatetheir professional growth whilemonitoringand coordinating training needs in partnership with Training Team
What You'll Bring
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience
- Prior leadership experience in a service-focused industry preferred; automotive experience isrequired
- Able to manage multiple tasks with competing priorities,establishand achieve goals, and meet deadlines
- Ability to lead group root-cause problem-solving activities andrapidly develop countermeasures
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; able to effectively interact with customers asrequired
- Able to work a flexible schedule, including weekday and weekendovertime
- Foundational computer skills, experience with Microsoft Officerequired
