What You'll Do
- Install new waste piping, water piping, compressed air piping, supports, racks, related panels, and devices
Work with various piping types, including copper, stainless steel, PVC, cast iron, and carbon steel
Use P&IDs, spool drawings, and shop drawings to plan work scopes, install improvements, and troubleshoot issues
Perform a wide variety of job scopes from planning and execution to cleanup and material handling
Display positive attitudes and practice good work ethics that reflect the mission, philosophy, and goals of the company
Complete tasks in a timely manner and provide feedback
What You'll Bring
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in pipefitting/welding at journeyman level or higher in industrial or commercial settings
Strong knowledge in installing and troubleshooting all types of plumbing systems
Ability to interpret P&IDs, shop and spool drawings, specifications, shop/fabrication drawings, and UPC codes
Ability to produce parts lists and work plans based on drawings or field observations and routing
Ability to produce as-built drawings for work performed
Ability to test and commission all work per Tesla procedures and building department codes
Ability to complete job scopes outside of normal core competencies as required
