What You'll Do
- Develop end to endteststrategies and drive continuously improvement of Tesla botmanufacturing testcoverageandyieldforbotsubassembly through full bot assembly lines
- Root cause testingfailures. Develop comprehensive control plan for risk mitigation
- Work withdesign,testsoftwareandfirmware engineers toimplementtestcoverageto catchbuildissues
- Work with SQE, SIE andsuppliers to driveelectronicscomponenttest coverageand incoming quality control
- Analyzemanufacturing test datatoquantifystationyields,root causingfailuresanddrivecorrective actions. This includes conductingDesign of Experimentsstudiestooptimizepass/fail limits
- Work with internalautomationteams and externalequipmentsupplierstodevelopautomatedtest equipmenttohighvolume productioncircle time
- Developand launchscalable testingdeploymentin multiple geographic locations
What You'll Bring
- Degree in Electrical Engineering, Robotics, Mechatronics,Mechanical Engineering,or equivalent industry experience
- Experience in high volume electronics hardware manufacturing testing at PCBA,componentand system levels
- Hands on experience in manufacturing testing one ormorefollowing products: PCBA, IMU, force sensitive sensors, linear/rotary actuators, harnesses, cameras, mic/speaker, high performance computing hardware
- Proficient in PFMEA, statistical data analysis, Gage R&R
- Familiarity with testing hardware such as programable power supply, CAN converter, linear/rotary stage, PLC, and their integration in production environments
- Self-starter with excellent time management skills and curious spirit
- Strong documentation and communication skills
- Ability to work independently under high pressure and comfortable working in a dynamicenvironment with changing priorities
- Experience withautonomousrobotic systemis astrongplus
