The battery cell is a criticalcomponentin Tesla vehicles and storage systems. This role will have the opportunity to make meaningful contributions to our products.The work environment is demanding, fast-paced,and incredibly exciting.The ideal candidate should be ready to push their limits, as they joinahighly motivated and capableteam.
What You'll Do
- Support development, commissioning, and ramp of custom high-speed automated manufacturing equipment
- Perform equipment setup, operation, adjustments, and maintenance to meet safety, quality, and efficiency standards
- Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineers and suppliers toidentifyissues and drive engineering improvements
- Debug andoptimizeautomated processes to reduce cycle times and maximize OEE
- Troubleshoot complex issues using PLC, HMI, and tool management software while supporting operations during extended downtime
- Develop operating procedures, training materials, maintenance routines, and equipment documentation
- Conduct analytical tests, record and interpret data, andparticipatein supplier and internal FAT/SAT activities
What You'll Bring
- 3 years of hands-on operational and technical experience with mechatronics or electromechanical systems in a highly automated manufacturing environment
- Strong knowledge of root cause analysis, high and low voltage systems, and electrical safety practices
- Proficient in metal working, fabrication tools, hand/power tools, and basic electrical testing equipment
- Ability to perform hands-on assembly, disassembly, and inspections with good manual dexterity and ability tolift upto 20 pounds
- Strongproficiencyin MS Word, Excel, and other business systems to manage and interpret technical data
- Excellent attention to detail, structured problem-solving, and data-driven decision-making skills
- Ability to collaborate in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment with availability for domestic and international travel
