What You'll Do
- Work with manufacturing engineering and production teams toidentifyproduction constraints
- Collaborate with production engineering teams todetermineoverall equipment effectiveness and associated improvement strategies
- Perform value-stream analysisthrough the use ofsimulations
- Work with the external teams designing production lines for the factory to ensure that their layouts align withthe overall planand vision for the factory
- Support decision making on process layoutthrough the use ofdata
What You'll Bring
- Experience performing detailed analysis necessary to make data driven decisions on process layout design, production line design or warehouse design
- Familiar with Discrete Event Simulation software like Flexsim andAnyLogic
- Able to gain buy-in from a diverse group of stakeholders
- Able to work under pressure while managing competing demands and tight deadlines
- Exemplary verbal and written communication skills
- Experience with MOS/MES systems is a plus
- Mastery of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio
- Degree inMechanical Engineer, ManufacturingEngineeringor equivalentexperience
- 2 years of experience working in a manufacturing environment
