The ideal candidate has experience with facilities operations performing a range of operating procedures, alarm response, new process equipment commissioning, and event management as well as a strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing and process system operation.
What You'll Do
- Support the pre-commissioning of new facility utilities and process system equipment
- Write start up commissioning procedures, sequence of start up, PSSR and other commissioning and start up related documents including narrative and P&ID's marking
- Drive reliable facilities system operation through collaboration with Operators, Construction/Maintenance Technicians, and Facilities Mechanical and Commissioning Engineers
- Lead planning and execution of complex, criticaloperationsand maintenanceevolutions, including the development of standard operating procedures and pre-task plans
- Serve as technical resource for training, mentoring, and building a 24/7 facilities operations team
- Support construction and maintenance job planningfor initial and new process system startup
- Develop and implement the facilities operators training program, collect training progress data for monthly and quarterlyreports
What You'll Bring
- 5 years related equivalent work experience
- Musthave understanding ofmechanical and electrical system operations
- Effective verbal and written communications skills along with strong attention to detail, flexibility, and prioritization
- Maintains confidentiality of sensitive and proprietary information
- Able to wear all required PPE associated with requiredtasks
- Ability to sit, stand, and/or walk for 10 hours per day, wear air purifying respirator as needed for specific tasks, lift at least 10 -20lbs.on a regular basis, perform repetitive hand and wrist motions and sometimes may have to twist and bend body, ability to climb ladders/stairs, work in loud environment. Must be able to discern audible alarms
- Required to work with and around hazardous areas and hazardous chemicals andmaterials
