Tesla is seeking a skilled Electrician to join our large-scale EPC project team. You will be part of a fast-paced, exciting environment where your passion for advancing energy sustainability and tackling complex challenges will be essential. What You'll Do
- Collaborate with the construction team to install power distribution systems, transformers, lighting, temporary construction power, and electrical equipment up to 480 VAC
- Maintain and troubleshoot various electrical components
- Interpret and use complex electrical schematics and blueprints to plan, install, and improve electrical systems
- Consult manuals and read project electrical drawings to perform and plan work scopes
- Execute a wide variety of electrical tasks and provide timely feedback
- Exhibit a positive attitude and strong work ethic that reflects Tesla's mission and goals
What You'll Bring
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a journeyman electrician in industrial or commercial settings
- Proficiency in sizing conductors and conduits and using the NEC Code Book
- Experience handling electrical systems from low to high voltage up to 480 VAC; medium voltage experience is a plus
- Ability to interpret electrical prints and schematics
- Capability to test and commission work according to Tesla procedures and building department codes
- Strong knowledge of job site safety, with the ability to evaluate job hazards and complete pre-work task planning, focusing on electrical hazards and safety procedures
- Ability to work at heights up to 80 ft.
- Willingness to travel to other projects as needed
