What You'll Do
- Program and troubleshooting Programmable Logic Controllers (SIEMENS) and VFD's (Siemens and SEW), utilizing ladder logic and structured text
- Perform corrective maintenance by searching for error codes inside of the electrical panel for electrical systems ranging from 24 VDC to 480 VAC 3 phase
- Troubleshooting or repairs within the PROFINET Network, motors and servo breaks
- Utilize SCADA for display reporting for production metrics, assign IP address to any new device and configure to local network/plant network
- Perform preventative maintenance (PM) on all industrial production equipment such as checking functionality of all input devices and replacing if necessary
- Operate and repair any conveyance equipment during scheduled and unplanned downtime
- Order parts, supplies and equipment from catalogues/suppliers or obtain them from storerooms, log all info inside of the computer system and share with the receiving shift
What You'll Bring
- 5 years or more years of experience working in a controls technician/engineer role on production manufacturing equipment and/or have equivalent training or relevant education
- Must be willing to learn factory specific programming standard for PLC, Robots and VFD's
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or 5S methodologies
- Experience with data analysis and use of tools such as Excel
- Advanced computerproficiencywith the ability to rapidly learn and adapt to new software applications across diverse platforms
