As a CNC Programmer/Machinist, you'llbe challenged withmachining the most intricate and essentialcustomcomponentsto meet engineering goals. This role demands a high level of skill and determination, and while the work is demanding, you're ready to rise to the occasion.
What You'll Do
Program, setup,and run 3-axis vertical CNC Millsand/or Lathesin a low-volume, high-mix workflow. 5-axis highly preferred
Work closely with engineers to provide crucial input on design for manufacturabilityand process improvements
Cut material, build tooling, set fixtures, run programs, deburr, and finish parts
Machine complexcomponents to tight tolerances in various materials with tight deadlines
Use various inspection and measurement tools to validate your work
Tracking and documentation of machining processes and results when necessary
Collaborate openly with engineers and team members to find solutions, and proactively communicate with them through verbal, email, phone, and other internal electronic channels
What You'll Bring
5 years of CNC millCAMprogramming experience(Mastercampreferred)
Ability toidentifyandprocureeffective tooling and work-holding solutions
Thorough knowledge and understanding of engineering drawings, documents, and GD&T
Thorough knowledge in measurementtoolssuchas calipers, micrometers, gauge pins, bore gauges, optical comparator, etc.
Ability to thriveina fast-paced, constantly evolving environment with tight deadlines
Excellent attention to detail,analytical skills,and mathematicalcompetency
Ability to lift 50 lbs.
