Civil Engineer

• Promote and protect Tesla's reputation as a cutting-edge company producing the world's most exciting cars and shifting the paradigm of personal transportation worldwide
• Manage multiple projects throughout planning, design, bid, and construction phases
• Define and plan project work scope, schedules, budget, and resource requirements
• Independently develop high quality civil engineering products including construction document drawings, specifications, narratives, and calculations
• Effectively and proactively communicate project needs, changes, and status to internal and external team members
• Review drawings and proposals by vendors, engineers, and architects, and drive multi-disciplinary coordination

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
• 3 - 5 years of hands on experience building high-tech/industrial infrastructure and operational facilities (semiconductor, solar, battery, etc.)
• Experience in civil engineering design, stormwater management plans, stormwater pollution prevention plans (SWPPP), heavy civil, wastewater, and manufacturing
• Operational construction Site development background with experience in design of roadway, grading, pavement, sewer, storm drainage, water, erosion and sediment control, and traffic plans
• Proficient in AutoCAD and AutoCAD Civil 3D for civil design Ability to multi-task and adapt to rapidly changing project requirements and timelines
• Ability to communicate clearly and interface at an executive level within a diverse team.Ability to uphold the use of standards and escalate issues in a timely fashion
• Desire to do the impossible with a positive and professional attitude. Demonstrates an "outside the box" problem solving approach; develop alternative and innovative design solutions
