This role is an analyst within Tesla's Corporate Accounting Services organization, based in either Draper, Utah, or Fremont, California. What You'll Do
- Contribute to accurate and timely recording of financial transactions for multiple entities, focusing on incoming customer payments
- Review metrics and journal entries to detect and resolve potential errors
- Reconcile bank deposits to customer accounts receivable balances
- Research unusual transactions to determine appropriate accounting treatment
- Author SQL queries to analyze, match, and reconcile large datasets from multiple sources
- Identify process improvement opportunities and collaborate with departments such as IT, Business Information, and Payment Processing to implement automated solutions
- Work closely with key contacts in other finance departments, including Revenue, Billing, and Order Operations, for cross-functional initiatives
What You'll Bring
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, or equivalent experience; CPA is a plus
- 2 to 5 years of relevant accounting experience at a large or public company
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Experience in writing SQL queries for relational databases
- Passion for leveraging technology to scale business processes
- Experience with payment processing platforms such as Stripe or Adyen is a plus
- Flexibility with nominal non-standard working hours for month-end close

Salary : $64,000 - $114,000
