We are seeking an experienced Air Compressor Technician with strong skills in maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing industrial air compressor systems. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with screw and centrifugal compressors, as well as air dryers from manufacturers such as Atlas Copco, FS-Elliott, and Ingersoll Rand. This role also requires basic knowledge of compressor control systems, drain systems, and related electrical systems.
What You'll Do
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on screw and centrifugal compressors
- Service and troubleshoot air dryers (Atlas Copco, FS-Elliott, Ingersoll Rand)
- Diagnose and repair issues with compressor control systems, drain systems, and related electrical components
- Monitor system performance, identify problems, and recommend improvements
- Read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and wiring diagrams
- Follow all safety procedures and company policies during repair and maintenance activities
- Assist in installation and commissioning of new compressor systems as needed
What You'll Bring
- Proven experience with screw and centrifugal compressors and knowledge of air dryers from brands like Atlas Copco, FS-Elliott, and Ingersoll Rand
- Basic understanding of compressor control systems, drain systems, and related electrical components
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical and electrical schematics
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Technical training or certification is preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., work in industrial environments, and be available for occasional overtime or on-call shifts
