We are seeking a skilled Drywall and Painting Technician to join our large-scale construction project team. This role demands exceptional craftsmanship and offers a dynamic, fast-paced environment. We are looking for individuals who are passionate about delivering high-quality finishes, excited to take on complex tasks, and dedicated to teamwork and excellence. A positive attitude and commitment to achieving project success are crucial.
What You'll Do
- Install, tape, mud, and sand drywall according to specifications
- Apply paint and finishes to drywall surfaces with precision
- Read and follow project plans to ensure accurate work
- Inspect work for quality and compliance with standards
- Adhere to safety guidelines and use PPE properly
- Use and maintain hand and power tools effectively
- Coordinate with team members and provide progress updates
What You'll Bring
- At least 5 years of experience in drywall installation and painting. Less experienced applicants may be considered based on skills
- Proficient in drywall hanging, taping, mudding, sanding, and painting
- Focused on delivering high-quality finishes
- Knowledge of safety protocols and OSHA 10 certification
- Experienced with drywall and painting tools
- Strong interpersonal skills for effective teamwork
- Ability to adapt to changing project needs and complete various tasks
