Requirements
Key Responsibilities
- Use Level 1’s prepared documentation to develop complete and competitive electrical bids.
- Select electrical equipment manufacturers, suppliers, and subcontractors strategically to optimize cost, quality, and lead time.
- Serve as the primary point of contact with electrical contractors, GCs, and suppliers during the bidding phase.
- Develop labor estimates for electrical crews, factoring in installation methods, productivity rates, and project conditions.
- Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and historical project data to improve bid positioning.
- Ensure all bids comply with applicable electrical codes, project specifications, and safety standards.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Construction Management, Electrical Engineering, or related field; or equivalent practical experience.
- 3 years in electrical estimating, project management, or related role with a proven track record of competitive bid success.
- Strong understanding of NEC, local codes, and industry best practices for electrical installations.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills for supplier and contractor engagement.
- Proficiency with electrical estimating software (e.g., Bluebeam) and Microsoft Office Suite.
