Job Summary:

The Facilities Manager is responsible for the overall maintenance, cleanliness, and safety of all indoor and outdoor facilities at Terry Peak. This position oversees day-to-day interior and exterior building maintenance, ensuring all facilities and grounds are properly prepared, maintained, and presented to provide a safe and enjoyable experience for guests. Responsibilities include snow and ice removal from walkways, garbage removal throughout resort facilities, and routine inspections to identify maintenance needs and ensure operational readiness.

The Facilities Manager organizes, schedules, and supervises overnight cleaning operations, cleaning staff, parking lot operations, and parking attendants. This role provides leadership and direction to building maintenance personnel, ensuring an efficient workflow, adherence to quality standards, and compliance with company expectations. The Facilities Manager conducts daily assessments of all indoor and outdoor areas to ensure facilities are safe, clean, functional, and ready for public use while supporting overall resort operations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

· Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and upkeep of all interior and exterior resort buildings and facilities.

· Ensure snow and ice are removed daily to maintain safe walking areas and guest access points.

· Manage garbage removal throughout all resort areas and ensure waste is properly transported to designated disposal locations.

· Maintain parking lots and ensure they are clean, safe, and prepared for guest arrival and use.

· Inspect facilities to confirm all maintenance, cleaning, snow removal, and waste management tasks are completed, and areas are ready for public operation.

· Communicate maintenance concerns, safety issues, and operational needs effectively with staff and management.

· Schedule, supervise, and coordinate the work of building maintenance staff, cleaning teams, and parking lot attendants.

· Provide training, guidance, mentorship, and performance feedback to team members to support productivity and quality standards.

· Assist with moving products, equipment, and materials to support other departments and resort operations.

· Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Basic Requirements:

· Must have reliable transportation and the ability to work weekends, holidays, and early mornings as needed.

· Ability to work safely and effectively in severe weather conditions, including snow, ice, and challenging outdoor terrain.

· Must be able to lift and carry 50–100 pounds as required.

· Ability to perform snow removal duties, including shoveling and operating snow blowers.

· Must possess a valid U.S. driver’s license with no restrictions and meet company driving requirements.

· High school diploma or equivalent required.

· Ability to safely operate vehicles and equipment in a variety of weather and operating conditions.

· Must be flexible and willing to support resort operations during peak periods, including weekends and holidays.

Preferred Experience Special Skills:

· Knowledge of mechanical and electrical maintenance is preferred.

· Previous experience as a maintenance person, in construction, or in general maintenance is required.

· Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and resolve maintenance issues efficiently.

· Experience supervising, training, and directing employees to achieve operational goals.

· Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate with staff, management, and vendors.

Full-Time Year-round Position with Benefits

Pay: From $62,000.00 per year
