Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for a Workers Compensation Attorney based in Uniondale, NY. It will generally be four days a week in office and Fridays work from home is acceptable. The Workers Compensation Attorney will handle day-to-day legal tasks including preparing and attending hearings, offering legal advice to clients, conducting research, and negotiating settlements with insurance companies.
Qualifications
- Experience in Workers Compensation Law(3 years)
- Strong skills in providing Legal Advice and conducting Research
- Experience in Negotiation and settlements
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple cases simultaneously
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
- Current license to practice law in the state of New York
